If you're looking for steryotypical small town Americana, this is the place. Food is good and people are friendly. Not many options in town either.

Come here from time to time. Gotta say this will be the last again for years. Four of us, two adults, two kids. Ordered fairly simple breakfast this morning. A group of six came in after us. Ordered after us. They just got their food. More complicated meals, but they got theirs and we are still waiting. Nobody has come by for 15 minutes. Last time we were here took 45 mins to get our food after ordering. Place is too hot also due to no a/c on and it's crowded. Already 75 degrees out.This will be the second time I've decided to avoid this place. Last time was many years due to poor food and high prices. Gave them another chance but no surprise, nothing changed. Don't waste your time and money.

Food was good but kids got their meals 15 minutes and two other tables before the adults did. Lame.

They're always welcoming and friendly the service is great and the food is delicious try the chicken fried steak or Chile relleno breakfast so so good

We were there a year ago for breakfast. The service was soooo slow. The cafe was packed full of people and we had a large group. So we gave them a pass. We went back again this year. Only a few customers and our group was only half the size. We ordered. By the time we got our breakfast most of the few customers had left the cafe long ago. We waited for well over an hour for our breakfast to be served. If you have all the time in the world and want to visit with friends, drink coffee while you wait for your food this is the place to go. However, if you are traveling and need to get on the road, or have an appointment you need to get to, I would suggest you find another place to eat.

Not many places to eat at in the morning. I had the steak and eggs. The meat was O.K. but the service was very friendly.

This was a great place to have breakfast! I had their eggs Benedict and it was great! Their Carmel rolls was amazing!! I will be back the next time I'm in salmon!!

Cozy lil cafe, server was sweet. Was going to go to Wallys but as soon as I saw the sign best biscuits and gravy I had to go in! Not the best but def thr best deal! 5 bucks for a half order of b&g with a egg and bacon and coffee!

Good breakfast.. Great service.. And reasonable prices. The Salmon River Coffee shop has been a staple in this town for as long as anyone can remember.

Took a while to get our food but place was slammed Monday morning. Coffee was great and food was really good.

Great hometown breakfast, just don't be in a big hurry, you can't rush food this good.

Good food but restaurant was very dirty. Walls, ceilings, counters, menus, floors, decor, were all in need of a very deep cleaning. From what we could see of the kitchen, in great need of a deep, thorough clean. Their business would benefit greatly from this. They do have Gluten Free options, but the customers must look at the uncleaness of the restaurant. Even the menus have smeared food, dirt on them. They need to shut down for several days and have a specialty cleaning business come in and clean from ceiling to floor.

Last saw my old friend and local legend Howard Cassell here for coffee back in '93. Howard and I worked together at Cobalt for the Forest Service and became good friends. He and Elmer Keith made Salmon famous...true American heroes.. and an honor to know!

Great place. Delicious food and coffee. Friendly staff. We ate breakfast here twice. Great coffee and fresh-brewed iced tea. The second day, there was one lady there to cook, wait on tables, cashier, and clean...but she did an awesome job!!! Homemade cinnamon roll very good, not too sweet. Homemade fruit turnovers were outstanding. We will definitely eat here again.

Server was polite but the place is very dirty and the food was outrageously priced. I went for lunch but got dinner prices. Never go there again.
